New students – new technologies

During the summer holidays, as part of the project BIN SGS02-2021-007 and Activity 3 - Modern Classroom, we purchased a modern 3D printer for composite materials Markforged suitable for creating parts from composite materials using 3D printing and creating a digital 3D model based on a physical template.

The aim of the project is to introduce new technologies into teaching, especially in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering. The implementation of the project and the introduction of additive technologies and reverse engineering into the teaching process will increase the level of education of both students and teachers. As part of this activity, we will also implement teacher training to ensure the fastest possible transfer of the information that we will receive in Norway at the university in Narvik.
