Reverse engineering as part of modern education

Slovak proverb

"Better seen once than heard a hundred times"

was confirmed this time too. The workshop managed to connect school with practice. During the whole day, the students of the secondary industrial school in Dubnica nad VĂ¡hom had the opportunity to try out scanning objects directly in practice, to look into the possibilities of the application of a robotic workplace and the use of 3D printing in the automotive industry. This - how to quickly produce a part by additive manufacturing and how fast is the reconstruction of parts by reverse engineering - this was the focus of the representatives of the companies ATG Slovakia s.r.o , ADIENT Slovakia s.r.o, eRobots s.r.o., Rossum integration and universities - TNUNI Faculty of Special Technology, STU MTF, UNIZA- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering who connected practice with school through presentations, practical, interactive demonstrations. Small workplaces with modern scanning equipment were created in three classrooms and also directly in the corridor. The interest in new information was great - the number of students who participated in the activity exceeded 100 (classes 1.A, 2.A, 2.A, 2.D, 3.F ...)
